Beginners find thousands of scattered videos and do not know in which order to watch them, or whether what they built is right. Without reviewed practice and clear goals, most give up.
An academy like this also has to be findable on Google, and an app that is assembled only in the browser often reaches search engines empty.
The technical solution
Codea is a web app built with Vite and Preact, light and fast on mobile. Every build prerenders the public pages (paths, guides, pricing) to HTML with their content, title and structured data, so Google reads them in full; the build also validates the content security policy (CSP).
Firebase (Authentication and Firestore) stores progress, submissions and rankings, with security rules tested in the emulator. There are three roles —student, teacher and admin— and without credentials the app runs in demo mode. It is hosted on Vercel.
